Responsabilidades

We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Project Manager to join our Operations and Program Management team in Juarez, Mexico to advance Cordis’ core Strategic Pillars.  

In this role, you will be responsible for driving initiatives that strengthen operational excellence, enable growth, and future-proof the business. Key areas of focus include:

 

  • Building World-Class Capabilities | Lead margin expansion initiatives, optimize productivity and lead times, implement world-class systems, and advance robust SIOP practices to drive day-to-day efficiencies across the value chain. 
  • Enabling Growth | Expand business capacity, ensure Selution readiness, strengthen the innovation pipeline, and develop flexible capacity to meet both current and future business needs. 
  • Future-Proofing the Business | Enhance operational resiliency, mitigate risks such as tariffs, and build dual-sourcing strategies to minimize disruptions and safeguard customer delivery.

 

The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, operational expertise, and strong program management skills to deliver sustainable business impact while aligning cross-functional teams with organizational objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Leadership & Execution

  • Drive initiatives across Cordis’ three Strategic Pillars, Build World-Class Capabilities, Enable Growth, and Future-Proof the Business, to achieve measurable business impact.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities, set priorities, and track progress on strategic initiatives.

 

Operational Excellence & Capability Building

  • Support margin expansion initiatives, including productivity improvements, lead-time reductions, and cost optimization across the value chain.
  • Support and manage world-class systems and ensure adoption of robust Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) practices.
  • Oversee cross-functional projects that improve efficiency, compliance, and performance consistency.

 

Growth Enablement

  • Support business capacity expansion projects to support current and emerging demand.
  • Ensure Selution SLR readiness and scalability to meet evolving customer and market requirements.
  • Strengthen the innovation pipeline by enabling processes, systems, and teams to support new products and services.
  • Help Develop flex capacity models to respond quickly to new business opportunities.

 

Risk Management & Business Resiliency

  • Support operational resiliency frameworks to minimize disruptions to customer delivery.
  • Support tariff mitigation strategies and initiatives to protect margins.
  • Drive dual-sourcing programs to derisk supply chain operations and ensure continuity.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Program Management

  • Coordinate complex projects across construction, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.
  • Manage resources, budgets, and timelines to deliver initiatives on schedule and within scope.
  • Establish clear metrics and KPIs to monitor progress, measure outcomes, and report to leadership.

Calificaciones

Required Qualifications

Requires a minimum 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent education and experience preferably in medical device or regulated manufacturing industries; Or 6+ years and a Master's degree; Or a PhD with 3+ years experience; or equivalent experience. Where required, the role must hold an appropriate degree in the industry (eg. Legal)
